Refuge Insolite en Bugey :
Is made of 2 Tiny houses, 1 Lodge, 1 Private Spa / Relaxation Area with its Nordic Bath and Sauna and 1 room dedicated to host family or business events, seminar & training courses for up to 25 people!
A splendid estate of more than 2 hectares.
Ideally located in the french department of « Ain », between Geneva and Lyon, Refuge Insolite en Bugey houses 3 cozy unusual wood structures : 2 tiny houses and 1 lodge. Made with noble and ecological materials, in a quiet, friendly and mountainous yet not isolated environment !
At any season, enjoy and recharge your batteries in Cormaranche en Bugey / Plateau d’Hauteville, at around 900 meters high.
Book « le Logis de Ambre » with its huge patio door and feast your eyes on the colors of Fall ; in winter, warm up by the little cute wood-burning stove of « Le Cabanon de M&M’s » or admire spring and its flowers; and in summer, enjoy the pure air and sleep (almost) under the stars from your comfy bed in « Le Nid Étoilé d’Augustine » !
To make your experience even more unforgettable, at any time of the year, indulge yourself thanks to our private spa / relaxation area called « LaSalle Cocoon d’Albane » made of a outdoor nordic bath and an indoor cosy space made of a sauna and everything you need to… fully relax !
Last but not least, our meeting/ family events room (around 40 sqm), « La Salle Studieuse du Club des 5 » (up to 25 people) can host any types of events such as : family/friends gathering, training courses, business meetings/ seminar… The entire domain can be rented… just for you ! So you got the idea : Refuge Insolite en Bugey is a “Land of reconnection” where we savor the present moment, enjoy nature, the spa/relaxing area as well as the events taking place all year long in the Plateau d’Hauteville area !

Le Cabanon de M&M’S

Take the “little path of the tinys” and you will find our cozy and romantic tiny at the far end of our estate !
Le Nid Étoilé d’Augustine
2 up to 6 persons.
Take the “little path of the tinys” and fall under the spell of this tiny home, designed as much for tribes as for friends or lovers!
Le Logis de Ambre
2 up to 8 persons.
Park quietly in the car park and take the “Magic Footbridge” which will take you straight to the terrace facing the pine trees.

Our Nordic bath awaits you for blissful and relaxing moments…
After having enjoyed our wood-heated Nordic bath on the outdoor terrace facing the surrounding nature, enter our indoor space « La Salle Cocoon d’Albane ». A cold shower will invigorate you and then our sauna, with its soft warmth, will be the perfect way to end this moment, your private time only.
The private spa / relaxation area is open only to our guests having a stay among us.

Who are we ?
Our nickname : « Le club of 5 »! And yes, everything links us to that number...
The residents of ”Le Refuge Insolite en Bugey »: Marion, Maxime and the 3 girls, Ambre, Augustine and Albane! Our 5 cats: Titi, Gribouille, Bleuet, Bilbonne and Noirot!
And again, as 5 is our favorite number, we started this project by designing 5 different “spaces” on this land.
